Various Passages – "What if God Doesn’t Give What We Ask?"
Introduction:
• Throughout this series, we’ve seen Hannah’s deep sorrow, her surrender in prayer, God’s
answer, and her joyful response.
• But what if God doesn’t say yes? Many people pray for children, healing, or
breakthrough—and don’t receive what they ask.
• How do we trust God in unanswered prayers?

                Main Teaching:
• God’s Grace Is Sufficient in all circumstances. Whether is childlessness or another form
of grief, God is all we need
• Paul’s Thorn (2 Cor 12:9) But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my
power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my
weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
• "My grace is sufficient for you." That’s hard. Are we ok with that? And look at what Paul
says - he’ll boast all the more about it!
• We don’t need to be British – we can boast in our weakness. Yes this is hard, yes there is
grief, but God is enough
• Isaiah 54:1 – "Sing, barren woman… for more are the children of the desolate woman."
o God’s faithfulness is bigger than physical answers.
Conclusion:
• Even when God says no or wait, His grace is always enough.
